Return and Refund Policy

Thank you for purchasing web services and products from Michael Jones Design and Development.

The following is the refunds and returns policy.

The following terms are applicable for any products or services that you purchased.

Interpretation and Definitions

Interpretation

The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.

Definitions

For the purposes of this Return and Refund Policy:

  • Company (referred to as either "the Company", "We", "Us" or "Our" in this Agreement) refers to Michael Jones Design and Development, 600 1st Avenue, Seattle WA 98104.

  • Goods refer to the items offered for sale on the Service.

  • Orders mean a request by You to purchase Goods from Us.

  • Service refers to the Website.

  • Website refers to Shop Michael Jones, accessible from https://shop.michaeljones.tech

  • You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.

Your Order Cancellation Rights

You may cancel any Order for custom service Goods, including custom theme and page development, and request a refund of any deposit paid toward development and received, up to 7 days before the start date of the service. Seven days before the ordered start date, all deposits paid become non-refundable, even if you cancel the project on the seventh day.

Please note that Reservation Deposits are not refundable. These deposits automatically reserve production time that becomes unavailable to others once it is purchased. In order to maximize availability for all clients, Reservation Deposits cannot be refunded.

Downloadable Goods, including themes, sites and plugins that you install, are not refundable. When you buy these products, you are buying a license to use them and these licenses are not refundable.

In order to exercise your right of cancellation, please notify us by emailing info@michaeljones.tech.

Your refund will be issued on receipt of your request, provided it is eligible according the terms described above. The refund will then be handled according to the terms and conditions of the card issuer and payment processor. We will use the same means of payment used for the Order, and you will not incur any fees for such reimbursement.

Conditions for Returns

In order for the Goods to be eligible for a return, please make sure that:

  • The Goods must be a custom development or service product, such custom theme and page development, monthly maintenance, or installation.
  • The start date for your custom project is more than 7 days away

The following Goods cannot be returned:

  • Downloadable Goods including themes, sites and plugins that you install.
  • Service Goods with a start date within 7 days or less
